I want to say thanks to the team that came in and installed the barrier in my attic. My attic access is in my closet. They took great care to cover my entire closet with plastic and place tarps on the door …a true sign of a professional installation team.

Prior to the installation, the upstairs was usually about four to  five degrees hotter than the downstairs. Today, at 4:30pm, there was a one degree difference. I can’t wait to see the benefits that will be evident in August.

We have an attic fan that is set to come on at 100 degrees. During the summer, it runs almost continuously. Since installing Green Energy Barrier, the fan has hardly been running at all. Our home, built in the mid 1950’s, has very little insulation. There are sliding glass doors on one whole side of the house. Heat is not held well within the structure in the winter. In the summer the house became unpleasantly warm even with the air conditioning unit on.

I was skeptical at first, but now with the green energy barrier product in our attic, I have noticed a significant difference in the home’s interior temperature so far this summer. I have not needed the A/C. The house is much more livable. And, our July electricity bill was down more than 50% compared with the same month in the previous year.
